To Appear. Va’ere.

There is an intense energy moving through the world. Whether you experience it through the lens of the endless pandemic, the erupting American Political body , or your personal relationships -- This is an excellent time to take notice of the parts of your life, your country, or this world that are holding you/us hostage.

(Fill in the blank)

Let my ________ go.

What are you ready to leave behind?

anger/resentment/ways of thinking/judgements/insecurities?

According to the torah omens this is an excellent time to further commit to a cycle of personal and collective growth. Be patient, ready for waves of resistance, and rest assured, although you might feel lost or overwhelmed at times—  you are not forgotten.

This week also marks the coming of a new moon.

From an astrological perspective new moons represent a favorable time for launching new projects, ideas, and efforts. From a kabbalistic perspective the new moon is a time H'/Source Energy/God is most receptive to our prayer -- (his/her/their way of apologizing to the moon, which is linked with the diminishment of the feminine) so take advantage of this opening and focus your dreams. This moon in the lunar month, called Shevat, is associated with the sense of eating - making it a good time to notice what foods, energies and thoughts you are consciously and unconsciously consuming - use the energies of this month to help you refine your consumption habits more deeply.

WEEKLY FOCUS.

The range of energies moving around can make this time feel confusing or messy - trust wherever you are finding as a part of the paradox of spiritual logic  and work with the aspect that feels most available.

Here are a few forces that might be effecting you:

I.

Getting closer.

The week’s narrative chapters called Va’ere - meaning ‘and he showed/appeared’ -- opens with Divine energy drawing closer - revealing a deeper layer of divine inner working to Moses (and the reader).

Do you feel a sense of presence drawing closer to you?

What names reconnect you? ( what names do you use to reconnect?)

Remember we are now in The Book of Names (known as Exodus), and the indigenous name for the book gives readers and practitioners a clear indication about the importance of a name, and a deeper appreciation for the way a name can unlock divine channels.  This week the Omnipotent energy clarifies how it wishes to be known to future generations. ‘This is my name……. I made a pact that I will keep… I will be known as the God that remembered my people and took them from Egypt with might,’   Notice the way the Torah omens share the divine logic of premeditated unfolding.

What is the story through which you want to be known?

Now is a favorable time to plan for it. Align with divine thinking, get clear on your own story, and then become that identity.

II.

Exhaustion is valid.

Does the thought of aligning with the divine feel overwhelming in this moment?  You are in good company. The energy of exhaustion is in the air -- the Children of Israel (B’nei Israel) are broken and dispirited and can’t hear Moses at all --   which does not anger or deter Source Energy/God/H’ but rather sets the plan of Exodus in motion.

So, if you are feeling too oppressed to care or  believe, have no fear, help is on it’s way.  After all, isn't that the dream? Even when you can't hold on anymore, there is something out there coming to get you.

Do big heroics restore your faith?

Does the idea of an actual physical place of belonging assure your restless soul?

Do you have a sense of where in the world that place is - and are you there now?

Are you too exhausted to care? (Give yourself a hug!)

III.

Plague logic

Much of this week’s energy is something we all came to appreciate in 2020 perhaps a little too well. The Plagues.  No matter where in the world you live, or what your faith, thanks to Corona, we can all relate to  something devastating that hits a society that feels like an endless onslaught -- This week’s torah energy sees the first of 7 plagues and the endless softening and hardening of Pharaoh's heart which paradoxically comes from the same Source Energy as the plague itself.

This dizzying stop and go of Pharaoh’s heart is seen kabalistically as a metaphor for our own animal soul -- the part of us that lives in the physical realm ruled by our earthly desires.

Is it helpful to understand the confusion comes from a source beyond any leadership?

Is it helpful to consider a Pharaoh part of ourselves being tested by our modern (corona) Plague?

Is there a part of your fears or anxiety from which you want to be liberated-- on an individual and social level?

IV.

Three is a magic number (for better or for worse)

Moses, the leader/savior/prophet/hero to whom the entire Torah is attributed and the human who practitioners see as the closest that anyone has ever gotten to Source Energy/God/H’— seems to have a speech impediment which we hear about 3 times. Moses seems attached to the idea of his block (Arel Sephataim) that is brought up another 2 times this week (even after he angered H’ the first time).

This is perhaps the most personally triggering thought of the week for me.

How do we understand our attachment to our blocks?

At what point have you convinced the divine of our fears and limited self perception?

Where have you convinced yourself out of a manifestation?

Lots to think about. Lots happening. Lots of potential growth.

Wishing everyone a meaningful week of internal alchemy.

May the energy of Torah consciousness and the new moon bring a fresh perspective and light into your daily life.

With love,

xxx Hava.
