Time to Go
THE BIG IDEA
According to the Torah Omens this weekend is a HIGHLY FAVORABLE TIME to honor the spiritual practice of Shabbat. Prepare your best food, relax in your favorite ways, inhabit messianic arrival.
This weekend is called ‘The Sabbath of Return’ because its energy offers the most direct and intimate connection with the mystery that binds us.
Go and speak your truth. Don’t hold back. Notice any skepticism activated during Shabbat, or the 10 day inner cleansing process. Both the Source Energy of the Universe and Moses are clear about the rebellious nature of their people (as if an inevitable part of our design), with God assuring his distance from those that pull away.
Reach out. Draw the Source Energy close. Use this Friday night to consciously step into spiritual time. This is your final chance of the year to gather spiritual merits before stepping into Tuesday night’s Moon of Atonement, Yom Kippur, the most deadly serious spiritual day of the year.
Take this opportunity to believe, and do your best to secure a life of revealed good.
The “GOD PLEASE HELP ME” EXERCISE
This time of the year is not a time to be shy or insecure about your personal vision for your life. Embrace the paradoxical inner posture of surrendering your life to a higher force or essence, and the cosmic imperative to envision and live your life for yourself.
To help with this paradox you might want to try the ‘God Please Help Me’ exercise.
Either on a piece of paper, or spoken out loud, begin to formulate your innermost desires for this life.
DO NOT HOLD BACK. Be confident and clear, as if you were stepping up to the King’s highest court, and able to ask for all of your wishes to be blessed.
PART 1
Begin each sentence with
“GOD PLEASE HELP ME…..”
Add in exactly what you would like manifest. Keep no secrets. Let no inner desire go unspoken. Continue this process until you see yourself smiling within each moment of your reality.
You might add and extra “please” and “thank you” before and after each vision.
You might offer words of praise like “King of all Kings” or “creator of all life”
You might want to pull out your personal or chosen family connections like Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob…Moses….in order to sweeten your favor.
Keep coming back to what it is you want the Source Energy of The Universe’s help with.

Complete your list by Tuesday night.
PART 2
On Tuesday night, as you step into Yom Kippur, do your best to let go of your list completely. Feel confident that you have asked for all you could possibly imagine, and there is nothing more you could ask for.
Then take the day to release your personal will entirely.
Give yourself over to the mysterious energy that created your own.
Drop into the receiving position fully.
Trust that your desires for this life were clarified to the best of your ability and allow yourself to be both blessed and surprised.
