Lech Lecha

THE BIG IDEA

According to week’s torah energy this week is a powerful time of self- activation. Take time to focus your thoughts on Abraham, the bravest spiritual seeker in the known world whose faith was so powerful it left a resonance of alignment that influences humanity until this day.

Bring the force of positive forward movement that guided him out of the place of his birth, and comfort, into your own energy field. Allow Abraham’s step out into the unknown to inspire in you the confidence of one that moves with direct divine guidance. This is time to Lech (go) Lecha (into to yourself), step deeper into your personal mission and calling in this world, to breathe into the creative power that flows when you activate conscious awareness and trust in the Absolute Oneness.

Abraham’s defining attribute was his ability to embody chessed -  the creative force that built and continually renews the universe, commonly understood as the expression of loving kindness in the world. Chessed is extremely poignant and necessary energy for any true spiritual seeker -  when you understand how everything is related, you can do nothing but embody loving kindness - because you know in the deepest of ways that we are all one.

This Shabbat, try your best to activate the loving kindness that flows within, stimulate the Abraham DNA that exists in your cells, cultivate your sense of wonder and awe of the interconnected truth of the entire universe.

However… as you activate your own positive forward motion, be sure to also prepare yourself for this year’s challenges.  Being in dialogue with the divine doesn’t necessarily make life easy. Abraham dealt with a famine, the abduction of his wife, the kidnapping of his nephew, and a lifelong struggle with fertility.

The point isn’t to expect this life to be simple, the practice is to feel the divine with you, expanding you, guiding you, loving you, at each step.
