Come to Pharaoh
THE BIG IDEA
According to the Torah Omens, this is the quintessential “Come to Pharaoh” moment. Access the divine confidence in the process of liberation, and find areas that you can apply it to your own life.
Don’t be surprised if you are feeling any harshness in your reality, this week carries the energy of the final 3 plagues, including the death of the first born. Scan yourself for signs of Pharaoh Heart Syndrome, and note places you are having trouble making positive change - even when the signs are clear. Question your heart’s deepest intention.
This week’s new moon of Shevat brings with it new waters of positive energy. Revitalize yourself with a new level of faith and trust in your connection with divinity. This is an excellent time to practice truly letting go of resistance.
VISUALIZATION EXCERCISE
Imagine yourself as an intergenerational slave with no rights or hope, and watch as supernatural wonder after supernatural wonder devastates your oppressor (and does not effect you or your entire community).
Close your eyes and sense the experience deeply into your body.
Imagine you are (god forbid) a young girl in South Sudan being traded amongst men, a Nigerian girl kidnapped by boku haram, or an Israelite slave tormented by Egyptian taskmasters.
Notice how it feels in your body to witness your oppressors being plagued.
Imagine watching locusts darken the sky and devastate their crops, see your torturers frozen in the terror of absolute darkness while you are able to see clearly, and finally, feel the reverberations of your oppressor’s scream as they awaken to death in every household.
See yourself and your family, packed and ready to step into the unknown. Imagine yourself eating the God of your enemy, roasted ritualistically over a fire, it’s blood on your doorpost.
Awaken together with your tormentor to the truth of higher forces. The death of the first born, and the ritual that saved the descendants of Jacob.
The plagues to them, are the proof for us.
This weekend is a favorable time to sense deeply into the eternal bond made on the night of Passover.
