The Final Blessing

THE BIG IDEA

According to the Torah Omens this week carries the energy of deep closure. Moses’ final blessings coincide with the closing of the New Year Holiday cycle.

Climb your internal mountain and imagine the coming year as the land you are yet to inhabit.

Feel Moses bless each part of yourself. Notice any aspects you felt challenged to clear on Yom Kippur, and use Sunday’s mini Yom Kippur festival to release the patterns or grudges that no longer serve your highest purpose. Experience the profound joy in the (second) chance to start again.

EXERCISE YOUR HAPPINESS

This weekend take a joy bath.

Do at least 3 things this weekend that spark joy.

Have an ice cream.

Call a friend.

Sit in a sacred hut and make a blessing.

Go for a swim.

Skip through the woods.

Sing a song.

Dance with a Torah.

Whatever it is, now that you have forgiven and been forgiven, be sure to fill your emptied vessel with joy.

Step into your new year from a place of conscious happiness.
