Ok! It’s here - Rosh Hashanna!!!!
Try your best to focus - the new light is coming in, and the way you are able to open yourself, surrender to a will higher and more powerful than your own and receive it will determine your coming year.
If I only had the ability to hold 3 thoughts on Rosh Hashannah these are what they would be:
This is the world of the divine. All of it. Every single last molecule. Every single last one of us. And I imagine that thought to be an act of crowning the King of all Kings with my active consciousness of a divine omnipresent essence.
The divine was present in every single thing that happened to me this year, in everything single thing that happened anywhere - but especially in my life. My actions matter and my thoughts matter, and the divine is constantly giving me signs and nudges to grow in a positive direction. I regret places I missed the message, and am grateful and certain of the divine’s constant communication and presence.
Torah and Mitzvot are real, they are gifts from the beyond. I am grateful/in awe of the gift of them in my life.
These thoughts correspond to the 3 sections in the Mussaf prayer (our Rosh Hashanna special prayer offering). The sections are called Malchuot(Kingship), Zichronot (Rememberances) and Shofarot (Shofar cries). The energy that these 3 meditations cultivate has the power to fill you, and our entire nation with positive energy for an entire year.
