Happy Chanukah!

THE BIG IDEA

It’s time to breathe out a sigh of collective relief. 

For some, this is the time of year you should feel, like Joseph, pulled out of whatever pit you’ve been in, and restored to your intended path and destiny. 

For others- things might not feel as blatantly good, likely because you are unable to release yourself from guilt or shame over past choices that block you from seeing clearly. The brothers were unable to recognize Joseph when they bowed before him, when he singled them out, when he kept Shimon and demanded to see Binyamin, even when he arranged them from oldest to youngest at dinner.

So if you are having trouble feeling the light of Chanukah, the light that shines the unbreakable faith and belief in a higher power that sustains our entire world, this weekend is a good time to use the powerful energy of Chanukah, Shabbat AND the New Moon to ask the divine to help you see clearly.

Even when we can’t see it - good things are happening.
