Cosmic Rules

THE BIG IDEA

Happy Adar! The month fated to mark the annihilation and despair for the Jewish people, transformed into a time of complete military victory and joy.

Get ready for some much needed cosmic laugher. After all, everyone taking to the streets, shouting for the protection of the world’s most vulnerable, carries some of this week’s Torah Omens within them; rights for slaves, maids, pregnant and single women, accidental murderers, thieves, refugees, those suffering from extreme poverty, widows and orphans, and even dead animals…

The 53 spiritual advices presented this week help us develop the ability to hold the paradox of applied compassion. Of course, when you see an animal suffering, you help that animal, even if you absolutely hate the owner of the animal person - and of course, if someone murders intentionally or steals a human being from their home, they deserve immediate death.

Every single action in this world, intentional or circumstantial, has a corresponding action and consequence — with karmic unfolding playing out across lifetimes — and every seemingly random or senseless event, a divinely orchestrated encounter, necessary for the soul adjustment of all those involved.

This week, do your best to remember that as hard as human responsibility and active intervention is to enact, it is easier than leaving it to the next lifetime and having to hold the mystery in the unknown.
