The thing about blessings is that they actually come from somewhere - according to this week’s torah energy, and the Elul moon - this is a favorable time of the year to acknowledge the source of your blessings and while your at it, to acknowledge the source of absolutely everything in your life— the good and also the not so good. 

As you prepare yourself to stand before the King of all Kings and pull down the fresh wave of blessings you need to live your best life and sustain yourself, this Shabbat is a good time to get yourself into the position of the sofar, to bend in awe for the ultimate source, and let your awareness pierce your soul like the sound of the shofar.
