The BIG IDEA

This week’s Torah energy answers an age old question – is it better to be part of a generation that believes God exists and yet has no control over their lusts (kidnapping, murder, rape, cheating, stealing…) OR part of a generation that rebells and rejects the idea of God- but has love for other people. 

Turns out the answer is B. While both pull down serious negative consequences –  the generation obliterated by the flood were unforgivably awful to each other. It seems the divine cares more about how we treat creation, and each other - than what we think of the divine. 

Take this as guidance for the coming year. Respect people’s property, boundaries and wishes. Be good to others. While we still live in the scattered confusion resulting from the Tower of Babel — we can all access the universal language of love.
