HAPPY NEW YEAR

THE BIG IDEA

Here we are. Again.

The thing we pray for most of all, the chance to start over.

Rosh Hashanna. The Jewish New Year.

Whoever you are, and whatever you have done, this weekend is the chance to start again.

Pay your bills, return borrowed items, donate to charity…. Reach out, apologize and forgive.

Prepare yourself to step into your absolute best life. Visualize your success, and the resources you will need to express your beautiful vibrant self, care for your unmet needs, and stay connected to the truth of unconditional love and God (the Source Energy of all Creation).

According to the Torah Omens, this is a time of miraculous energy; the power of Sarah to conceive and birth a healthy baby in her old age, and protect her miracle (Issac) from negative influence (Ishmael). This weekend also holds the miracle of a husband, (Abraham- Ishmael’s father) able to surrender his will to his wife’s wisdom (Sarah), and later, defend his property ( wells) through peaceful means.

This is the most favorable time of the year to manifest and protect the blessings of your life. Trust your vision. Trust your boundaries, (God agreed with Sarah). Trust that those connected to the Blessing will continue to be blessed ( like Ishmael and Hagar) and you have only to follow your innermost guidance.

Allow the shofar to penetrate to the deepest layers of your being so that you can be transformed to your core (without needing to learn through pain and suffering).

And most of all, take full advantage of this year’s special energetic configuration. Invite the Shabbat Energy that starts Rosh Hashanna to set the tone of your year. Fill this coming year with additional light, holiness, and divine energy.  Pray in the sweetest year yet for yourself, for your family, and please GOD for the nation of Israel… and the entire planet.

EXERCISE FEELING DIVINITY

This year the usual shofar piercing is suspended for the first day of Rosh Hashanna to honor the laws of Shabbat.

And so, instead of feeling the lack (of shofar) on the first day of this year, try your best to feel the fullness of Shabbat filling its place.

Consciously pull that extra light (consciousness) into your body.

Allow it to touch each of your cells and fill your heart.

Whenever you miss the shofar’s sound, close your eyes and imagine a beam of light washing over you and filling you fully. Feel the divine consciousness of absolute surrender permeate your being, and then pray THAT feeling into the new year.

This Friday evening when you ready yourself to say two blessings on your candles, sense in that extra light into your entire being and coming year. Pull in the light of the Shabbat and holiday candles into your entire being. As you light your candles, see the symbolic resonance of the extra light doubling your blessings for this world and your year. Close your eyes and pray to bring that additional flowing energy into your life, and to maintain a feeling of connectedness throughout the year.

For those that have not yet felt the power of Shabbat energy in your life, I encourage you to try to touch into it this weekend. On Friday evening, step out of the flow of your week entirely, outside of the pressures and responsibilities of this world, and step fully into divine time, into the experience of simply BEING. It is that presence in being (not ‘doing) that characterizes Shabbat’s essence, it is that connection to our divine self and being that we all pray, in our own way, for the time of endless Shabbat light.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! SENDING LOVE TO ALL.
