THE BIG IDEA

Take a moment to leave whatever reality you are in, no matter how shaken or disregulated, and imagine the inauguration of the first Kohanim and what it meant for the jewish people. Visualize Aaron and his sons dressed in their ritual splendor, being purified and prepared for eternal service. 

It is said that in times without a temple, learning about the sacrifices and rituals counts as if we are doing the mitzvot. So, this week as you reflect on your half cleaned/fully cleaned home, imagine yourself and the entire nation being purified, along with the Kohanim, of all of our sins. Imagine Aaron and his extended appealing to God on your behalf and on behalf of the entire jewish people. 

Believe that it is possible for just the thought form of the Kohanim inaugurated to bring forgiveness and divine protection over us all.
