THE BIG IDEA

For anyone that has ever been lucky enough to fall in love, there is always some moment in the courtship phase where your entire being yearns for a committed sign of that love.

This week, in the universe of Torah consciousness, the Creator Of the Universe gives his chosen people their sign. The “ring” is a series of rituals to be performed that bind the love of the divine with His people forever.  

In ultimate creative form, the sign is not a material object that can be forgotten or taken for granted, the sign of divine love must be renewed each year, at exactly the same time, in exactly the same way - making it necessary to say yes over and over and over again until the end of time. 

This week is a favorable time to start yearning for that sign, and the cosmic transcendence of eternal love.
